Apologies to one and all over the lateness of this report. Illness had been the theme in my house for the last two weeks and it is only just getting better this week. Lots of things have been delayed but I would like to thank everyone who came to Obsidian Fleet’s first living simming event. It went well and we are going to continue the story asap.

Year End Awards

Nominations are open for 2019’s Commanding Officer, Executive Officer and Character of the year which celebrates the hard work of individuals not just on your own sims but fleet-wide.

You can vote here for all awards.

Golden Pumpkin Award 2019

When the entries all came in it was really clear that I could not vote as it would be unfair as they are all either on my ship or in my task group (the curse of all my hats). So I really appreciate the people who have taken the time to read these entries especially the people outside of Obsidian Fleet who I literally asked on the off chance and got more replies than I expected.

This has literally allowed me to give prizes out and get the sweets that I have been stashing out of my house. The Prizes will be sent as soon as I am back at work and well enough to sort it out. Apologises around that.

1st Prize:: @Draxx – USS Andromeda
2nd Prize:: @Rotten Emu – SS Fawkes
3rd Prize:: @Paul – USS Athena

Social Media

If you didn’t already know we also have the following social media that we manage. Every follow, click and like counts towards getting us out there to potential players. Some Commanding Officers have done some awesome work in linking stuff to our Facebook site.

New Items

We need everyone – players and CO’s alike – to submit news stories. These could be anything from an awesome mission on your sim to a great post you want to see everyone talking about. Commanding Officers please remember we have sim and now post spotlight to get how awesome you guys are out there. It also doesn’t take long to get them approved either. If you need assistance please contact me.

Final thoughts…

Leading into the last month of the year do not forget we’re all in this together. Be kind to each other and PLEASE be kind to yourselves. If you need anything to support yourself and your ships please reach out. We want to help.
