So, a two for one here? Kind of appropriate the week after Black Friday! Did everyone enjoy it? I know I did… Well, the Friday, I was working the rest of the weekend but needs must!
So, let’s get to the stuff we care about. I’d like to show gigantic changes in the summary but there’s only one small but notable change.
The current state of the TF is;
• Total Ships in Task Force: 16
• Ships with CO’s: 8
• Open Commands: 8
• Ships on Hold for Prospective CO’s: 0
So, what’s different, I hear you ask. Well, I’m happy to announce that Melody Jones has officially assumed command of the USS Merlin. There’s some big shoes to fill there, but I’m confident that this CO can get the job done, so congratulations and good luck!
The other big change isn’t readily apparent within these figures, and came from an idea put forward by the TGCO for 47-B. Specifically, we’ve shuffled the TF slightly, in order to put the active sims within Task Groups with an active TGCO. This way, every CO has an active TGCO and TFCO they can call upon. So well done Yoshi (yes I am wording it all this way just to make a Nintendo reference) on your great idea.
With that out of the way, open commands are as follows;

Now for the awards. I’d like to say with two months between reports I have a nomination, but I don’t. What I do have is a reminder that within the CO channel, our wonderful comms director has arranged an event where we’re giving praise to all the sims that are deserving of it and I just want everyone to give a massive round of applause to her for doing that.
Yes, I’m expecting people to sit at their computers or their phones clapping. Because she deserves it, and every single one of you deserve it as well, for all the work that goes in throughout the year!
To quote the great Keanu Reeves, “You’re beautiful! You’re all beautiful!”
And I think I’m going to wrap it up there. This will be the final report of this Task Force in 2019. Her history will soon become the care of another year. We will seek out new life and new civilisations. To boldly go where no man… Where no one, has gone before.
