Task Force 47 Report – October 2020

    Introduction

It’s report time. No one told me this. Well, the TFXO asked me how it was going yesterday morning. It was 7:46AM and I’d been up until 3:30AM-ish, not telling you what I was doing but it was absolutely not something involving lots of Fosters and video games. So, naturally, my response was “It’s going to be worked on today. Once the world stops spinning.”

I was feeling a little bit delicate at the time. So here I am, one day later, sat at my PC, 2 litre bottle of diet lemonade beside me, working on the report.

“Why is this relevant” I hear you ask.

It’s not. I just found my response to her question yesterday morning amusing and wanted a way to fit it in here haha!

Anyway, let’s get to the report shall we?

So, quick run down.

October has been a relatively quiet month. We’ve spoken to the people having issues with sims and are trying to help as we can. If you have any issues not mentioned in reports or not readily apparent, do give us a shout, it’s what we’re here for. We’ve also not lost any sims from the Task Force and generally speaking, the Task Force is moving in the right direction, which is a testament to each and every one of you, so well done!

    Metrics

Metrics currently stand at the following

•Number of Active Sims: 10
•Number of Sims in Shakedown: 1
•Number of Players*: 90
•Number of Posts: 472.98
•Number of Posts Per Player*: 5.255
•Open Commands: 6

* Players calculated by active characters on games and some may have been counted twice.

    Awards

So, awards. Awards are a thing.

For the month of October, I am nominating the crew of the USS Elysium for the Unit of Merit award. Not only have they demonstrated a phenomenal writing ability over the years, but they’ve also managed to write an average of 211.87 posts by fleet standards over the last 3 months, equating to an average of 11.15 posts per player. Not only that, but they have accomplished this without any loss in quality, and to top it all off, they’ve got a hell of a community going over there, and serve as a great example to both the Task Force and the fleet as a whole. Well done!

    Conclusion

And that brings us to the end of this report. I hope everyone is having a good November so far, once again, if you need anything please feel free to hit up either myself or the tfxo, via either discord or I can be reached via email at [email protected], and we will get back to you ASAP.

So, until next month, may Riker’s beard protect you.
