Task Force 29 Report – December 2020

To begin I would like to apologize for the lateness of this report. I will do my best to do better and beat my colleagues to the punch next month. One can say that the year of hell is now behind us, and like the intrepid crew of the USS Voyager we may be the better for it. (See what I did there) There has been a lot going on behind the scenes in Task Force 29. Some good and some bad so let’s get to it shall we? That is enough of my blather. So without any gilding the lily and no further ado I give you the state of 29…

Task Force Update

Another sim within 29 has closed its doors. I am saddened to say that the USS Sovereign has put into dock for good. We wish nothing but the best to Captain Terim. One hopes that the Sovereign will return when things are a bit better.

Now onto some good news within the Task Force. The USS Defiant returns to our ranks and we could not be happier. We welcome Captain Reynolds and the crew back with open arms and cannot wait to see what they have in store for us.

I would also like to introduce a new sim opening up within Task Force 29: The USS Lexington. The Lexington is a Constitution Class starship set in the year 2257 just after the war with the Klingons. Please do not hesitate to have a look and see what Captain Steven Bond and his crew have to offer.

If you have any questions or comments about Task Force 29 do not hesitate to contact me at [email protected] or on Discord (Hadir Prenar #1445), I would be happy to discuss anything that you may need.

What if you could travel to parallel worlds or other timelines? The same year, the same Federation, only different dimensions. A galaxy where the Klingons have taken over the Federation… or where your dreams of making peace with the Romulans… or where Vulcan was a maximum-security prison. There is a gateway, its Task Force 29. Now the question is do you have what it takes to step through.

Unit Of Merit

With the great stories coming out of all the sims in the Task Force this month and the ever changing scope of the Task Force. I could not chose a UOM for December. Keep up the great work and here is to next month. With the addition of the Defiant and the Lexington one hopes to see a Unit of Merit from this Task Force in the coming months.

In Closing

“Let me explain. No, there is too much. Let me sum up.” I encourage you to take a look at the sims in this Task Force and join a sim that will give you something completely different. Until next month Stay Out Of The Space Time Continuum!

Until Next Month
