Crew Awards

Corporal David Tonelly is awarded the Meritorious Newcomer Award! - This player has thrown himself into the game, and is an active marine PC and has shown the ability to work with many different crew! We are grateful to have him.

Corporal David Tonelly is awarded the Rising Star - David has jumped into the simm since joining with both feet and I am enjoying writing with him and reading his posts. He has already become a valuable member of not only the Elysium's Marine Detachment but the entire simm as well!

Commander Sthilg is awarded the Golden Heart - Simply because Sthilg is always played with excellence in his role as chief medical officer.

Captain Phoenix Lalor Is awared the Surprise Star Award - In the short time I personally interacted with this writer, the character has bounced around like a ping pong ball in a hurricane. The sheer output makes you wonder if the writer or character is on something, they run rings round the sim. I think this award is well earned, and I trust the writer has many more adventures lined up for this character. -This may come as a surprise, but I think there are many times when our Captain shines when she steps back and allows others to lead the way. This makes her a worthy winner of this award, she might not think so but I do. So as such, I want her to receive this award as a thankyou from me and maybe others who think as I do.

Captain Phoenix Lalor is awarded the Library Excellence Ribbon - Always a pleasure to read Phoenix’s posts. Always well written and keep the flow going for everyone else.

Captain Phoenix Lalor is awarded the Outstanding Personal Character Arc - This character has endured and stayed strong in the light of events that would have driven lesser people to their knees. The loss of her best friend followed by the loss of her lover. Then in addition to this the birth of twins all while commanding the Elysium with skill and grace while maintaining a professional air.

Lieutenant Commander Alicia Kelea-Salik is awarded the Surprise Star -This character and her writer have appeared on my radar quite a lot, and I feel she should gain a reward for her hard work. She will take on allcomers and write a JP which oozes class, when I write with her she makes me feel as if she is a very wise and caring person. So well done and please, keep those JP's flowing. Ayesha AKA Lia Taylor, Chief of Security/Tactical

Lieutenant Commander Alicia Kelea-Salik is awarded the Outstanding Personal Character Arc Award - Alicia has come on leaps and bounds since joining the ship having fell in love, married, fallen pregnant, taken on a mirror universe son and been adopted by Sthilg.

Lieutenant Commander Alicia Kelea-Salik is awarded the Non Player Character Award - For npc Heather, whose arrival was a traumatic one having been saved from slavers to becoming part of the crew of the Elysium and wife of Fernando.

Lieutenant Commander Alicia Kelea-Salik is awarded the Rising Star Award - This writer throws herself into any post she is in. Her creative writing also adds life to any post she is in. In addition, she is a pleasure to write with and receptive to any idea(s) pitched at her.

Lieutenant Commander Alicia Kelea-Salik is awarded the Solace Ribbon - For demonstrating care, understanding and compassion to those that need it the most in their hour of need.

Lieutenant Colonel Azhul Naxea is awarded the Semper Fidelis Cross - Naxea always plays her Marine part to the hilt, loved the most recent posts from Naxea (marine training)

Lieutenant Tate Sullivan Ph.D. is awarded the Solace Ribbon -What posts Tate does with others in Counselling are very well written and deserve merit- For demonstrating care, understanding and compassion to those that need it the most in their hour of need.

Lieutenant Victor Barclay de Tolly Is awarded the Meritorious Newcomer Award - Since arriving victor has been pouring out posts! Well deserving of an award

Commander Gary Taylor is awarded the Zefram Cochrane Writing Award - Always a pleasure to write with not just as Gary but as Savar and Fernando as well. Writes romance posts wonderfully alongside other posts as well.

Commander Gary Taylor is awarded the Commendation for Mission Participation - Here is another writer who doesn't sit still, and just keeps on giving to the sim. He has personally given me support in difficult times, and yet keeps his JP's up to date. I think this diligence should have its own reward, so request this award for him.

Lieutenant Commander S'hib is awarded the SERVICE COMMENDATION AWARD - Writing posts with this character is never dull and he always makes replying to tags easy. Always a joy to write with.

Lieutenant Commander S'hib is awarded the Commendation for Mission Participation - This player has shown he is more than a one trick pony. He and his partner in crime Baeryn Whavi are leading the away mission in style!

Commander Arrianna Salannis an Vantar is awarded the Professional Merit Award - Arianna has been a joy to read especially since the mirror universe plot, very well written posts. - Arri, is a truly unique character and a joy to interact with. She is a finely developed character not some cut out cardboard character and it shows in her posts and interaction with other members of the crew.

Commander Arrianna Salannis an Vantar is awarded the Commendation for Mission Participation - I find this character coming up in post after post, the writers work load must be mind boggling at times with the amount of JP's they undertake. I feel and think this work rate is deserving of reward, and so would wish to have this award given to the writer for a character the never sits still and gives so much to the sim.

Commander Arrianna Salannis an Vantar is awarded the Vulcan Science Award -As Chief Science Officer for the Elysium, Arri is constantly pushing the boundaries of science in her creative and imaginative posts. Not to mention they are fun to read.

Ensign Miraj Derani is awarded the Rising Star Award - This is a truly engaging character. On one hand the consummate pilot. fearless, confident in her abilities able to handle anything thrown her way as a pilot. On the other hand, when not flying, she is insecure, hesitant in her abilities and lacking confident. Yet the writer blends these two diverse traits seamlessly and the end result is Ensign Miraj Derani. A character that is a joy to read and watch in action.

Ensign Miraj Derani is awarded the Starfleet Pilot's Cross- Her piloting skills are second to none be it piloting the Elysium or a shuttle. Her quick thinking and natural ability has saved the Elysium from many a mishap.

Commander Aurelia Taylor is awarded the The Order of Defense - Commander Lia Taylor is at the top of her game when it comes to security. She knows her job and expects others to know theirs as well. If they don't you can bw sure Lia will make sure they do.

Lieutenant Baeryn Whavi is awarded the Commendation for Mission Participation -This player has really stepped up this mission, and with her partner in crime, S'hib, they are running the away mission well!

Ensign Ryan Kade III is awarded the The Order of Defense -It is harder for Ensigns to show their shine, but this character does it well!

Ensign Damien Blackford is awarded the The Order of Defense -Though not often seen, he brings his character forth well when facing the captain and executive officer!

While doing this report, I discovered a disparity around awards and when asking about I got a few replies of "Well i do not interact with the other players X,Y and Z" Well I said to myself we are a crew of 25 and 17 of those officers are ranked Lieutenant or below. So this month coming will be "BELOW DECKS MONTH"!

"Below Decks Month"

We are going to celebrate our Officers ranked Lieutenant and Below!

Player Challenge:

Write a post with each player character ranked Lieutenant and Below. (For Marines, everyone but the MARDETCOM is ranked Lieutenant and below)

That is 17 of our player base!

You have 31 one days in which to do these.

The player with the most joint posts (1000 words or more) will receive a special award at Months end and get mentioned in my monthly report!

I have even set up its own Mission so they can do it outside the current mission.
