Pre-Service Biography

Personal History;

Ophelia was born on the 15th of May 2345. She grew up without any siblings but had several close friends. She lived a rather ordinary childhood, but did show an aptitude with machines very early on. She joined Starfleet academy in 2363 and graduated as an Engineer four years later in 2367 and was assigned to the USS Bellerophon. Three months after she was assigned to the Bellerophon the vessel was assigned to the fleet that engaged the Borg at the infamous battle of Wolf 359. The Bellerophon was critically damaged early in the battle and the crew were ordered to abandon ship. Ophelia spent three days floating in a damaged escape pod with five other crewmembers before they were found and rescued by Starfleet. Upon her rescue Ophelia requested a transfer and she was assigned to work with Starfleet Command, Starfleet Intelligence, and the Starfleet Corp of Engineers to study the Borg and develop countermeasures. She worked on the Defiant and Prometheus projects and spent a long time living on Earth. Ophelia spent much of her time working with officers in Starfleet Intelligence and in 2370 she was transferred and began working for Starfleet Intelligence as an Engineer. When the second Borg invasion took pace Ophelia pulled all the strings she could and was temporarily assigned to the USS Lexington during the battle of Sector 001 in 2373. Unfortunately she was caught in an explosion during the battle and listed as dead. However, moments before she was vaporised she was pulled out by temporal agents who were also aboard the Lexington. In the future she took a three year course in Engineering and history to bring her up to speed and she was assigned to the USS Clepsydra in 3097.
