Due to her augmented status she is required to undergo regular psychological monitoring.

Early years Biography

Not much is known about Tallida’s early childhood. She was born in the fall of 2366 in an Angosian research center. It is unknown if she was given up by her parents if they had died in a conflict.

When she was eight she began undergoing testing approved by the Angosian government. She was subjected to genetic testing that would allow her the ability to access more of her brain capacity that most humanoids. Unlike the previous incarnation of the “Augments” she was not designed to be a solider, her purposes was never exposed before the program was shut down when she was thirteen.

Tallida had no known family and was taken in by the Federation government. Due to her augmented status she has undergone psychological monitoring. This constant relationship with Stafleet Medical introduced her to a world she wanted to see more of. Between school and her testings she spent as much time as she could helping out the medical staff.

She was sixteen when she applied and was accepted into Starfleet Academy. She completed he schooling in three years instead of the standard four. It was a forgone conclusion that she was going to attend medical school.

In the two years that Tallida attended medical school she developed a love for music. The loudness helped her focus much to the chagrin of her roommates. It was also during this time that she rebelled the most against the way that she was raised. She loved her care takers as much as a girl who never had any real emotional attachment to people would love someone. The constant inquiry about how she was processing the information and no focus on what she was feeling forced her to act out. She started small. Coloring her hair in any shade she could find and as often as necessary when her handler forced her to change it back. Her small rebellions gave her hope of a life she didn’t know.

Upon graduation, two years after starting, she was assigned to the USS Foxworthy for her residency. What had started as a hopeful experience of learning and experience life fell showed to a chaperone. For the next three years her every move was monitored and reported back. She had been an exemplar officer and a more than competent doctor but she never got to experiance the emotional attachment. She was awkward and with no chance to practice she resigned herself to a life of work and sleep.

When her residency was completed she transferred to a permanent assignment at Starfleet Medical in San Francisco. She had resigned herself to the life she had been forced to have, that was until Meriam came along. She was the first caretaker that expressed any interest in her emotional well being. She exposed her to books and stories and filled Tallida’s head with a romanticized idea of a life she could have.

Tallida, was itching to get into space. It took her a few years to convince her “handlers”, as she came to calling them, that she was not a threat and would be fine. This was even with the help of Merriam. They were more like her family than any she had known, but she eventually convinced them to let her branch out. This resulted in her serving on the USS Yorktown as the CMO for two years. Still painfully awkward, an embarrassing romantic encounter (her first) with the executive officer she put in for a transfer taking the first medical based position she could get.

She was assigned as the Chief Counselor on board the USS Pioneer with the rank of Lieutenant.
