Trey was born to mixed vulcan/human parentage. Despite this he was encouraged to find his own way, so he embraced a happy medium between the two. Apart from this he was a pretty much normal kid. Patriotic, green blooded member of the federation. He spent all his life on a federation colony world hearing about the adventures of Jean Luc Picard as he forged new adventures in the Enterprise D.

The formative years of his life were spent here. He led a pretty much normal routine, even had a girlfriend. This all changed when the Borg attacked the federation in 2373. Trey and his family were among the last off the evacuation shuttles off world when they got caught in a tractor beam. The next few years were a blur as both trey and his family were assimilated.

The next thing he remembers is waking up in a Starfleet sickbay a broken person. Having been a member of the hive mind, trey embraced his humanity as he gradually began to heal. He joined Starfleet partly to prevent the same thing from happening to others. Although Trey is still trying to overcome a crippling fear of re-assimilation.
