The USS Archimedes is the newest ship to join Captain Santiago Vela and Task Group 47C. She is an Nova Class, and as a true science vessel has no true home. She is constantly exloring the unknown, and the undicovered country.
The Archimedes under the command of Lieutenant Commander Nn’khiy Marcus begins duty in Cardassian space. The Archimedes is tasked with exploring and and cataloging scientific discoveries that are formally unknown to the Federation. Their overall mission is to expand the berth of knowledge of all living species in the galaxy. They delve into the unknown crannies of the galaxy just to see what is there. For only through exploration can one reach their true potential. In short, their mission echoes their dedication plaque, “Give me a lever long enough and a fulcrum on which to place it, and I shall move the world”
On her maiden voyage the Archimedes is assigned to go to the Prenar 7 Nebula, a dark matter nebula located in Cardassian space and investigate what is happening to specially adapted probes that are sent into the nebula. Starfleet wants to understand what is special about this particular dark matter nebula. While in the nebula the Archimedes discovers the reason for the mystery and they get a little more than they bargained for. I put this to all of you the Archimedes will have a fine crew if they can avoid temptation.
What will happen when an exclusive team of Starfleet’s best scientific minds lets their hair down?
Join Nn’khiy Marcus and find out Do you have what it takes to move the world?
