USS Elysium – Oct-18
Task Force 72, Task Group 72C
We have updated our front page with our awards that were won over the past year. Thank you to those who have taken the time to create them. They look great.
It has been a busy month for the Elysium Crew. We gained 3 new players:
Lieutenant JG Turak - Security Officer
Lieutenant Eira Cortez - Intelligence Officer
Lieutenant Anje Brett - Chief of Operations.
We also have a returning player in negotiations at the moment. - We hope to have them to 'officially' rejoin the crew within the next few days.
Commander Liselle Qwynn was promoted to Second officer as Commander Aurelia Holmes (Chief Sec/Tact-Second Officer) departed the ship on (Indefinite? Temporary?) Medical Leave. We were considering promoting within Security to cover the post but that is currently on hold as the command team discuss the situation.
We started a JP Challenge among the crew: http://uss-elysium.com/index.php/sim/awards/1
Every year, Elysium will run a Joint post challenge for a month.
* A player must have 1 JP with each player in a one on One situation. Mass JP's do not count towards this.
* They have 1 month to get this done.
The winner gets a Shiny award for it!
The challenge will end in Late November and the crew can track their progress on a Shared Excel sheet in GDOCS.
Episode 3: Determination is not always a good thing is our newest mission.
On most civilized planets, weather patterns are controlled and monitored. But out on the fringes, on new colonies, this is not always the case. The Elysium is sent to assist a distant colony where vicious earthquakes are wreaking the colony. To the extent that they may need to evacuate it.
We have just started this mission. It is going to be very busy. And hopefully with a few surprises along the way. I hope that it will keep all characters busy.
