An average Andorian, Njikes is a little less concerned with maintaining proper appearances than most Andorians, so his uniforms tend to look more lived in.

Karulean is a cheerful sort, always making the best of things. While philosophically, he is more of an anarchist, he sees the Federation as the best vehicle for sentient beings to flourish under its umbrella.

Karulean’s family has been in Starfleet for as long as there has been a Starfleet, it was only natural for him to apply to the Academy.
