This year is dissappearing fast but there is so much happening around the fleet right now along with so much yet to come. This report will be a bit of a recap of everthing ongoing and about to happen in the next few weeks.

Unit Of Merit Quarterly Votes

As was announced back in November last year Unit Of Merits was changing to reward quality and ships that are continuously doing well. As you are aware since the beginning of the year, we have had only silver UoM’s awarded each month.

The voting system is open for one week from today 10/10/2019 until 17/10/2019 9 PM GMT.

It is with frightful delight that we announce Obsidian Fleets celebration of all things that go bump in the night.

Please join us on discord on 2nd November at 7 pm BST/GMT for frightfully fun discussions of favourite scary episodes of Star Trek, other sci-fi programs and movies, creepy stories we have told, live writing and the announcement of the winners of the Golden Pumpkin 2019.

Please nominate your favourite spooky programmes/movies here giving a response as to why it is scary for you.

If anyone is interested in running a mini-event based around horror, get in touch we would love to hear from you.

A separate news item went out tlast month about our yearly Halloween Writing competition so I hope people have there pumpkins and broomsticks ready. Cannot wait to see what you come up with.

We need everyone – players and CO’s alike – to submit news stories. These could be anything from an awesome mission on your sim to a great post you want to see everyone talking about. Commanding Officers please remember we have sim and now post spotlight to get how awesome you guys are out there. It also doesn’t take long to get them approved either.
