A Journey Into the (Un)known…
Set in 2376, in the aftermath of the Dominion War, Forgotten Frontier takes a somewhat different look at life in the Star Trek universe.
The war is over. The Federation is rebuilding. Starfleet is looking towards the future once again.
But not everyone lives aboard a gleaming Starfleet vessel.
Enter the SS Nothing.
Built in Nothing, Arizona, the Nothing is a tramp freighter crewed by a colourful collection of people making their way across a Federation still recovering from one of the most devastating conflicts in its history.
Their job?
Move cargo. Get paid. Keep flying.
At least, that’s the theory.
Their journeys take them to the places Starfleet takes for granted, the worlds that have slipped through the cracks, and sometimes the places the Federation has simply stopped caring about. Along the way, the crew will encounter the consequences of the Dominion War, new challenges emerging from an uncertain peace, and more than a few situations that were definitely not mentioned on the shipping manifest.
Forgotten Frontier offers players the opportunity to explore the Star Trek universe away from the bridge of a Starfleet vessel and experience the Federation from a very different perspective.

The 18+ rating gives the writers the freedom to explore mature themes when the story calls for them. It isn’t intended to make sex, violence or other adult content the focus of the game — as the Forgotten Frontier team puts it rather wonderfully:
“We have an R-rating so we can go there if the story requires it. Not so that we can move in.”
We think Forgotten Frontier brings something wonderfully different to Task Force 29, and we’re very pleased to have them joining the Obsidian Fleet community.
