Intro
Wow, another month has come and gone; here we are in April already. It seems like only yesterday it was Christmas and we were making our plans for 2020. Boy we had no idea how 2020 was going to turn out, did we? I know that with everything going on in the real world, you all have a lot on your minds at this point. But, I want to thank everyone for their continued support, encouragement, and friendship. You all are the backbone of this community and you continue to make Obsidian Fleet a great place. Keep up the great work!!!
Task Force Update
Not much to report in the Task Force, to be honest. We have several great stories going on, as well as several inter-game Joint Posts happening between the Commanding Officers. I always love to see the interaction between the games, and I highly encourage people to branch out beyond their games. Don’t be afraid to meet up with another Commander, and do something between your games. This only helps to strengthen our community and build our team up!
On a side note, I also want to remind everyone that we are running a bit low on news articles. The news articles are a great way to get some traffic to your game and give yourself a boost in the recruitment factor as well; not only for your own game but our fleet as well. Our Community Department works hard to get Obsidian Fleet out there, so let’s do our part and give them some material to share with the world.

Unit of Merit
As always another great month for Task Force 72, and with that an equally challenging time trying to determine the Unit of Merit award. You people are doing excellent, which makes this an even harder choice each month. That being said, the Unit of Merit for March 2020 is going to the SS Mary Rose, and her adventurous crew. We all know the struggles that a Commanding Officer can face, but Captain Gregnol has managed to pull together a terrific group of talented players while wearing several different hats in the Fleet. Each month they continue to turn in quality, engaging, and talented stories as they deal with the civilian side of Star Trek. Congratulations to Gregnol and the entire crew of the Rosie, thank you for all you bring to Task Force 72!
In Closing
In closing I want to remind everyone to have fun! I know it’s getting more and more challenging but it’s important at a time like this not to get depressed or stressed out. Continue to provide that encouragement to those around you and remember that a bit of humor goes a long way.
