A quirk of their Protectorate upgrades and how they reacted or interacted with the Tillikaal transporter throw the Potemkin through time and space. As their systems come back online the crew realize that they have been deposited into the Delta Quadrant near the Galactic barrier and into the year 2372, just a handful of years after the USS Voyager also found herself far from home.

Now finding themselves in a space/time that is not their own. 70’000 lights years from Earth and 26 years in  the past the crew of the Potemkin must find a way home without changing history!
