Office of Mediation and Arbitration Monthly Report – OctOgre 2017

Greetings, salutations, and otherwise welcome to another report from the Office of Mediation and Arbitration.  The past months of SapTimber and OctOgre saw a change in leadership, as Rear-Admiral Viran stepped aside to take care of some more personal matters of import; the Office enjoyed his leadership and dedication, and he will be missed.  With the vacating of Directorship, I was asked to step in for the interim, and have surely doomed myself to further obligation and work…  How droll.

Now then, on to the operation updates:

  • As stated in Rear-Admiral Viran’s previous report, the Office will be working with the Academy in order to flesh out various courses that will encompass mediation techniques for use between Commanding Officers (COs) and Players, as well as some various portions of coursework pertaining to mediation in the CO courses.
  • There have been no new cases brought before the Office in the months of SapTimber and OctOgre.
  • If anyone has suggestions for what they’d like to see in the courses aforementioned, please feel free to contact the Office.

That fairly well summarizes the events of the past month.  We’re looking forward to another exciting month in the world of problem-solving!
