Task Force 47 Report – October 2018

So, it’s report time. I’m going to avoid the pre-amble, as, to be frank, I’m running behind! I know right, me, the guy who’s usually first out the gate with this stuff! So, here’s the summary of the Task Force;

Total Sims: 19
Ships with CO’s: 13
Active Ships: 12
Open Commands: 6

It’s been a relatively quiet month. Sandwiches were made and eaten, sims were ran, and I’ve been watching you all like a slightly cross eyed drunken pigeon. As we near the end of the year, my big intention is to ensure that everyone going into 2019 is doing so on the best foot possible. I’m not going to put into writing here what that will entail, but I am going to be having discussions with people about things and working on a few bits.

I’d like to also remind everyone that, due to there being no official TG47-C TGCO, any enquiries regarding the TG should be directed to the interim TGCO and the TFXO, Alenis Meru.

In regards to the open commands, currently we have six. They are as follows;

USS Juno (Vesta Class)
USS Polaris (Galaxy Class)
USS Livingstone (Nebula Class)
USS Schrodinger (Merian Class)
USS Archimedes (Nova Class)
USS Harbinger (Luna Class)

If you’re interested in any of these commands, please, drop me a line and we can have a chat. You can find me either via email (tf47ATobsidianfleetDOTnet) or via Discord (BenjiMan#5762). I’m always happy to have chats with people about this, just please, remember I do work so it may take me a bit of time to reply. Doubly so on weekends because P A R T why? Because I’ve gotta!

So, for the awards, I’m afraid there are none this month. Not just because of the forthcoming shake up mentioned in the JFC report, but because I have received no nominations this month.

That being said, I’d like to stress how proud I am of the work everyone puts in. Especially as we march towards the holidays, I know how hectic things can get. For those of us in retail, this means less time off and less time for fun stuff. For those in hospitality, it means that to the extreme. Hell, for everyone, it’s just a pain at work! However, I’d like all of us to remember to do one thing, and that is to make sure we maintain the things we enjoy, lest we end up incredibly grumpy.

So, that’s about it for this month. I’d like to conclude with an apology for the tardiness of my report, next month I intend to be first in with it once again. I’m also going to go ahead and leave a contact sheet at the bottom for any of you who may have questions for members of the TF command staff. So, I hope everyone has a great November, enjoy Black Friday, and stay frosty, San Diego.
