I legitimately have no idea what to write here; it’s something my character Damien and I share. We suck at paper work. We also share a love of Budweiser and a fascination with the Power Rangers, but I’m rambling here!

 

So, September was Power Rangers month. It brought with it Cosmic Fury, which was notable for the sim since the Cosmic Fury Zords come from Kyuranger, where the Solar Force Zords come from. In fact, the Cosmic Fury Megazord literally is the Solar Force Megazord! Our suits are cooler though. Sorry, rambling again!

 

We’ve been slowly plodding along, having fought off the alien invasion. We’ve got five of our six rangers together and found our giant robots, while the sixth is currently in a POW camp with a very red headed cadet who is totally not an undercover bad guy and totally doesn’t give that away by having the character literally linked to the post! Now, following a time jump, the team is heading to the planet Corathus in order to rescue an archaeological team who have ceased communication, including the pink ranger’s parents. What will they find? Find out on the next exciting episode of Power Rangers Solar Force!

Yes, I’m going through lines from power rangers opening themes for titles. Heaven help us all when I get to RPM…. I may have to resort to using a line from the unused demo!

 

I have almost an idea of what to write here. Almost. Not totally. I’m a writer, not a… Damn, I just broke my own point didn’t I!

 

We’ve continued the plod along, unfortunately losing a player along the way. However, exciting things are coming in the form of some individual craft for the team with a launch method that heavily apes on that of the Colonial Vipers, plus some wibbly wobbly, timey wimey… Stuff. Right in time for the triumphant return of Doctor Who!

 

What else will come? Well, you’ll just have to watch this space and find out!

The Power Rangers theme song line montage continues! This one was tricky and has next to no relevance but I was determined to include a line from the Power Rangers Turbo theme!

 

Once again, still not sure what to write here. I think my issue is just paperwork, which is ironic since that’s more than half of my actual job!

 

We’ve finally got off of our last, time altering mission, and we’ve also introduced some new lore to the game in the form of our base in an interdimensional space outside of time and space itself! We’ve got a new Ranger joining the team soon, right in time for us to have some fun with a whodunnit fuelled by a shapeshifting monster of the week!

So, I usually forget these things. Mostly because I get so caught up in everything else that happens at the back end of a month, my head runs out of space, I need a bigger head!

So, update. We’ve had a very slow couple of months while we work in the background on some things, not least of all; it’s graduation day! Ironically, the last time Power Rangers included graduation day was back in Turbo and it was not the most well received season. However, it’s slightly different here.

First off, our rangers are essentially intergalactic police cadets ala SPD. They aren’t teenagers with attitude, which is probably a good thing because that’s so 90’s. Second of all, once this is done, it frees the team up to actually fulfil the intergalactic portion of the intergalactic police. So far, we’ve been off world twice, and only once to a world not previously on Power Rangers. So yeah, this is going to open up a whole new world (or worlds) to us going forward.

Honestly, for right now, that’s all I’ve got to say but watch this space and watch the site, there’s one or two interesting moments coming up!

2025-06-03

Well, the title says it all. We’re slowly plodding along. Got one of the posts that’s been worked on out, another is about two thirds done, and then everyone is currently on instructions for a post prepping for graduation day. We’ve all had one and all know the feelings that come up.

 

Then we get to get into the event itself. I’m looking forward to seeing how people react to this as it’s not going to be quite as straight forward as planned. Because it’s power rangers, historically those graduations involve some kind of unnatural disaster!

 

As I said last month, we’re going to be using this as a spring board to explore the rangers universe a bit more. Plus, we may get some more explanations of the wibbly wobbly timey wimey stuff that’s gone on! So yes, watch this space, and wait and see what we have in store 😈

So, it’s the end of another month. And I still don’t know what to write here. Factual writing is not my strong suit and the fact that I spend half my time at work doing just that makes that utterly hilarious now I think about it.

 

So, we’ve now dropped down to three. Hence I skipped to quoting the intro from the first three ranger team. The team IC is more than three it’s just players.

 

So yeah, it’s graduation day for the rangers and the imperium decided to launch an attack that involves a dampening field that turns their powers off. Because who doesn’t love powerless rangers?

 

Oh, I’ve just been told that was one of the biggest criticisms of the 2017 movie. My bad!

 

Anyway, they’ve got one ranger outside of the field whose job it is to save the other three before the Imperium win the battle. If any of you want to join up to help, that’d be swell!

It’s already February 2026. Where is the time going? It feels like just yesterday I was writing one of these at the start of December 2025… Before I forgot to write one in January 2026. That was my bad, December is a stupid hectic month in my family and that runs into January, but I’m rambling.

 

January was a slow month. We’re currently in reset mode. Working to recruit new players and build things up while also developing upcoming mission ideas; between me and my AGM, we’ve got the premise for five of the next six missions worked out. So while we’ve not been getting many posts out, we’ve got things in the pipeline.

 

For now, it’s still graduation day which looks to be longer than planned but that’s okay. If anyone wants to come help speed the rescue of the powerless rangers along, I’m happy to read any and all applications or chat character ideas on discord.
